Suggestions to improve your markup
Paste the copied <script> tag into your page's <head>.
Tell search engines exactly what your page means.
Schema markup is structured data added to a page in JSON-LD format. It doesn't change what people see, but it gives Google and AI assistants machine-readable facts that can unlock rich results and more accurate citations.
What schema markup is
Schema markup is structured data, a small block of JSON-LD you add to a page that spells out what the page is about in a language search engines understand. It doesn't change what visitors see; it gives Google, Bing, and AI assistants machine-readable facts about your business, content, and reviews.
Why JSON-LD is the format to use
Google explicitly recommends JSON-LD over older microdata. It lives in a single <script> tag in your page's <head>, so it's easy to add, edit, and keep separate from your visible HTML. Everything this tool produces is JSON-LD, ready to paste.
What it can earn you
Valid markup makes pages eligible for rich results: FAQ accordions, review stars, article cards, and business panels. These take up more space in search and get clicked more. Structured data also helps AI assistants cite you accurately instead of guessing.
Validate before you ship
Markup only helps if it's valid. After you paste your code into your page, run it through Google's Rich Results Test (the “Test in Google” button does this) to confirm it parses and is eligible for the rich result you're after.
Pick the path that fits where you are.
