October 2013

Founded by Syed Irfan Ajmal as MQC (Marketing Quotient Consultancy) — SEO strategy, content marketing, onsite implementation, and backlinking.

June 2015

After a merger with a British agency led by Azzam Sheikh, rebranded as Digital Marketing ROI — growing to 18+ team members serving US and UK clients.

2017

Irfan and Azzam parted ways amicably; the company reconstructed and began focusing more on HARO outreach.

2018–2019

Expanded HARO outreach, refining processes and data systems to earn citations predictably. The team grew to meet demand.

2020

Launched the new website at dmr.agency and focused exclusively on offsite SEO, with HARO outreach as the primary offering.

2021–Present

Delivered transformative results for Curednation (709%), Physician Thrive, Trendline SEO, and Efani (364%). Evolved from hands-on execution to systemized, trust-based delegation. Now highly selective — we only partner with companies that get it: earning beats buying, every time.
